We have sole use of the pool from 7:30pm. Ideally people attending the first session should get there from around 7:15pm to pay and change. There are three 40 minute sessions. Due to Covid-19 we are operating at a reduced capacity of only 6 boats per session.19:30 - coaching, rolling practice and general progression, 20:10 coaching, rolling practice and general progression. 20:50 - advanced paddlers get a chance to play. Please note that either of the first 2 sessions are also appropriate for beginners and young people. Cost - Costs as of winter 2020/2021 Members - £7 per session (adults and children alike) Coaches - £1 for the last session if they are coaching during the earlier sessions. Non-members taking advantage of our 'come and try it' offer - £7 per session, but there will be an additional £2 charge per session to cover insurance. Clothing A swimming costume and towel are all that you will need, a rash vest might be preferable to stop the spray-deck irritating you. Equipment Kayaks, paddles and spray-decks are available (included in the cost). You can bring your own equipment with which to practice but kayaks must be scrupulously clean inside and out or they will not be allowed in the pool. Metal-rimmed paddles are not allowed.
